Does the 16" MBP make a strong case for a 15" MacBook Air?

I just got my 16" M1 MBP today and I love it. Still, it is a bit chunky compared to my 2017 15" MBP and even my 2015 MBP. I really think Apple should have a large display alternative for those who like their laptops as thin as possible.

I tried the Air and it was great - except I need a bigger screen. If a BIG Air was a thing, I’d be all over it. But it isn’t. So it’s looking like a low-spec 16” Pro is the only way for me to go Mac laptop with the screen size I want.
