I've read a few things that speculate that it actually does, but I'm wondering if anyone actually has had this done?

My battery is dying and my trackpad doesn't work half the time... - I think it would be a steal if all of that gets replaced for $199.

I had my battery replaced and they swapped the whole top case/keyboard as well. However this does NOT include the trackpad.

It does include the trackpad. The trackpad is "under" the glued battery. There is no way they will remove the glued battery to install your old trackpad. No way. The assembly is all one piece with no parts exchanged. It's all new.
