Does the 21" iMac "Core i3" 3.06 (Mid-2010) Support AirPlay?

We have a 2010 21" 3.06ghz i3 iMac and were wondering if it supports AirPlay?

Bought an Apple TV just for that purpose.

If it does not, might it support AirPlay in the future with a software update?

Yes, But not AirPlay Mirroring that requires a iMac (Mid 2011 or newer)

I highly doubt it AirPlay Mirroring will be added in a software update as it's very hardware dependent an Apple is determined the older iMac's don't perform this task optimally you could look at a Third-party App though. Should run pretty fine on that iMac.

My late '09 DOES support Airplay, but it does NOT support Airplay Mirroring.

I'd imagine it's the same with yours.
