Does the 5C's plastic back give it an advantage over the 5S in terms of Wi-Fi and cellular reception? I know that the iPhone 4 (glass back) has better Wi-Fi reception than an iPod touch 4th gen (metal back). Then again, the iPhone 4 has external antennas and the iPod touch 4th gen does not. Anyway, if the 5C does have better wireless reception than the 5S, that may tip the scale for me toward the 5C.

I found out that the 5S's internal antennas are behind plastic "windows" in the back. Also the 5S's external antennas are at the very top and bottom of the phone, away from the metal part of the iPhone's back. Based on these factors, I believe that the 5S's metal back doesn't hinder its wireless reception much, if at all.
