I just upgraded to the 6s and I find the screen to feel really sticky compared to my 6. I never use screen protectors but I feel like I'm going to need one because the 6s screen doesn't feel smooth to me. Am I the only one who feels this way? Or is there something off on the coating of my phone?

I'm going to head to the Apple Store tomorrow to do a comparison of the floor models but thought I'd ask you knowledgeable folks first :)

No difference at all since they both have the same glass with oleophobic coating, its feels just a bit thicker though.:)

Thanks for the replies. I know it sounds crazy but something seems off. I normally can slide my thumb and fingers with ease but for some reason I can't. It's not smooth. I have no idea. I just switched from my 6 48 hours ago so I'm fairly confident that I'm not over exaggerating. I'm going to head to my local Apple Store today and take a look at the demos.

Whatever you say bud.

For what it's worth, I think he's right. I sometimes have a similar issue and it's usual that my hands are sweaty or I've recently had sweaty hands and wiped them on my phone. Give your screen a wipe over, wash your hands and keep them warm.

Anyways, all good. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll ask at my local Apple Store today. I probably wash my hands twice as much as the next guy daily and that actually made me think that my skin is dry from all the washing which might lead to not have a smooth feeling. Which would make sense if it weren't for my 6 being fine.

Feel free to close the thread, have a nice day everyone!

Even using it now. The screen has no flow. My fingers are getting stuck on the screen. I know it sounds crazy. But it's actually like that. So strange.

Does your screen have a coating left over from manufacture and has not "broken in" as your well used 6?

I can't tell as I always apply a ballistic screen protector to my devices.
