Does the Apple Cinema Display work on a PC?

I just bought a Power Mac G5 with a 20" Cinema Display. I would love to youse a KVM or some type of switcher to switch the display between my mac and my pc, is this possible, or does DVI not work with PC? My display card has a VGA plug...any help would be great!

Yes, it will work. It would be best to get a video card with DVI, but you can use the adapter.

No. This does NOT work because it allows DVI equipped computers to use a VGA monitor and not the other way around. If it were to work, then the VGA end would have to be male and DVI female, it is the other way around. I need an adaptor that will alow a VGA equipped computer (which by the way is a hp zd7000 notebook) to use a Apple Cinema Display. If there are no adaptors, does anyone know what kind of video card I could buy for my notebook that has DVI? Thanks guys
