It does. They’re in the a fitness app on the phone.

Apps like RunGap let you export them elsewhere if desired.

That said, there’s an ios14 bug affecting many users (not all) which prevents the gps tracks from coming over.

Hmmm. It's pretty ugly. I think I'll stick with Endomondo for the time being.

That’s just the top level to show you where it is. You’d click on the map to see the detail.

But I’m not feeling like revealing detailed personal location data to the internet at large.

My post was to show you where to look. Now you know you can assess for yourself.

Or you can just dismiss something you’ve not looked into.

Use whatever you like.

FYI - I export the gps and run or walk details out to Garmin Connect and strava for third party backups. There’s as much data as I have need for.

Why not just use Strava on your watch and cut out the work?

Two main reasons.

First is that the Apple workout app works with Always-On-Display, and I don't believe the same is true for Strava.

Second is that Garmin Connect is more my primary "system of record" and Strava is more of a backup repository. Probably more because I've been using GC for close to ten years through several generations of Garmin watches before moving to Apple than for any other reason.

As for work - RunGap makes the syncing of data out to Garmin Connect & Strava simple & easy.

For someone starting out and without an existing entrenched history, different choices may be better for them.
