So I paired my Apple TV to my watch as a remote, but then tried removing it.
It gave me the option but nothing happened. Took me ages to try and remove it until I realised that it also actually pairs through your phone if the phone is connected via home sharing.
If I turn home sharing off on my Apple TV, I no longer see it with my watch.
It also sees my iTunes library although I never actually paired it using the 4-digit code system.
Strange that if I turn home sharing off on my phone, my watch will continue to see both my iTunes library and Apple TV although they are not "paired".
No mention of this in apples support notes - is that new to watchOS 2 or something? Or has it always been able to control devices on the sane network without setting up?
