Does the base rMBP 15" have scrolling LAG?

There are a few user reviews out there on various sites that say the performance is slow particuarly when scrolling in graphic heavy safari pages, or like the screen in itunes when there are a bunch of album covers. Any truth to this? or are these BS reviews? Could it be possible these reviews are talking about the 13" which uses built in graphics?

There is truth to this. However the latest 10.8.3 update seems to improve upon scroll lag. When you're checking your sources make sure they posted after March 14th, or better yet visit your local Apple Store or authorized retailer and judge for yourself first hand.
