Does the Blue Yeti Pro work with retina Macbook?

I've got the new 12" retina macbook with just the usb-c port.

I'm looking to purchase the Blue Yeti Pro usb microphone and wondering if anyone has had any issues connecting it up?

I do have the USB-C to USB adaptor but I'm concerned that the microphone will draw more power from the port than the macbook can provide.

Has anyone managed to get this working and if so how did you do it?
