Does the clear icon setting work for every app or does the app have to support it?

Some of the apps I have to use for work don't even support the dark setting yet, so I hope they found a way to apply the clear setting automatically.

They will still look pretty bad.

But I also think most people will find clear icons too gimmicky or hard to differentiate and be back on light or dark after a couple months anyway. Don’t expect developers to rush to support this if they never changed their icons for iOS 18.

Thanks. Just as expected. I have to use two apps for work that don't even have a dark version yet. Apple should force every app to do this. Just don't allow any update that doesn't include it.

Yeah I had to put all my non-dark icons on their own page.

I'm sure they will, its beta 1, I'm not even going to bother worrying about or such unless this sticks around to beta 3 or 4 then we can worry. For now, it's way to early, shouldn't be like this regardless, but they ahve a lot of time.
