Hello.

My roommate got her new iPad 4. (32G). We did a restore from backup.
Her old iPad is an iPad 2 (32G). She had 18G of free on the old iPad.

When the restore was done there was only 4G of space left on the new ipad. The same photos, no more no less, but the Photos now are eating all her space.

I am not an expert. That is why I am posting here. I did search. Could not find the proper explanation.

Could it be because of the iPad's retinas display? Maybe iTunes import the photos at full resolution because of that?

Thank you for help in advance.
