Does the iPhone 6 have split screen apps

Damn. The 6 plus is cool but it's quite big but I'll keep it bc I like the split screen apps a lot. Lol choices.
So on the 6 when put landscape mode the messages and safari are split screen like the iPad and iPhone 6 plus?
I'm getting different answers in this thread. Do any of you own a 6?
For me the split screen apps was one of the iPhone six plus' killer features and will only get better when third party apps support this.
Yeah, it doesn't seem all that useful right now, and not having the ability to disable this new '2 up' landscape mode is dumb too.
No here I'll explain it with out pix.
On the 6 plus it can do 3 things.
Messages : when in landscape mode the left side will have a list of everyone your talking to and the right will be the actual convo.
Safari. When in landscape mode the top with all have all the tabs exactly like a iPad does. Same as a MacBook actually too. Your viewing a website and there will be tabs at top of website.
Settings : when in landscape mode the left side will have all the settings and the right side of screen has the setting you tapped one.
Does the iPhone 6 do these 3 things ?

Thank u. The 6 is not for me then. The 6 plus is pretty big but these features are awesome. Goodbye one handed texting though lol.
I really love these split screen things on my Plus too. There is a way to check out how stuff would look on a 6 though!
You can go to Settings > Display and Brightness, there is a Zoom option and if you choose the "Zoom" option (don't worry, you can change it at any time), your iPhone 6 Plus behaves like it was a normal 6 and you see what the 6 can do. You can't turn the home screen and you won't get all the split screen stuff but you can see how the apps look on a 6, they are just slightly zoomed. The point of this setting is to help poor sighted people to better see things on the large display instead of showing more.
Default - See more on the screen.
Zoomed - See bigger stuff on screen.
Also, you should give swype a try. Makes one handed texting a thing for me again. I can't guarantee it will for you, but it's worth a shot nonetheless
On the 6 plus u can use zoom and it looks like the 6 without any split screen. Thanks to the guy above u for letting me know
I get that the plus has more resolution to work with, but some things just feel like a bit of a cop out. The contact avatars for example. You could easily fit those on the 6. Its been a jailbreak tweak for years. There's probably tons of little things like this that would work just fine on the 6 but they're going to hold it back just to entice people into wanting the plus instead.
hmm yes Ive been JB for years too. Im gonna get the 6 Plus 10 days before I consider exchanging for a 6. Its just huge lol
I had a Note 2 with 1280x720p resolution and it supported 2 apps at one time. I think you meant that the screen size is too small for it to be useful.
But I would like to at least see it in action on the iPhone 6. I know it's possible but Apple is holding it back.
