Coming from a blackberry (the worst phone ever). Is there anyway without jailbreaking that will allow certain vibrate length for instant messages. Say short ones for mail and long for instant messages and none for third party notifications? If there is already thread on this please link it as I cannot search on this lousy phone. Thanks.

Does the iphone allow custome sound settings?

On a stock iPhone4, it doesn't allow for custom ring tones, and custom text alert tones ? That can't be right ?
If you read the first post you'd see it was referring to different vibrate lengths.
