hi Folks,

I'm looking at buying a new audio deck for my truck (Toyota Tacoma).
To date, I've been using the Toyota adapter connected to an old 3rd Gen ipod classic (yes, the ol' white brick! :) I've replaced the battery a few times, but I'm facing another replacement. I find the cold (even if I bring the ipod in at night) wreaks havoc on it. It cuts out alot and is very jumpy.

The adapter will work with my iPhone (but won't charge it) and it seems to drain the battery hard.

Added to the mix is the fact I need a solid bluetooth unit for phone calls. I've lost one Jawbone and broke the much-needed ear hook on another. If I buy yet another BT headset, I'm darn near the cost of a new audio deck :) lol

Plus, I love my music and having a touch screen would be fantastic.

So, does anyone have either of these 2 units?

If so, experiences? Good, bad? I'm not locked on Clarion either. I really want something that will have the following:

1. BT for phone calls - preferably a BT connector on my visor (Heard those are much better).

2. touch screen

3. Charge the iPhone (Currently a 3Gs, but will be upgrading to the new one in the summer or fall).

4. full iPhone functionality to control music, see the cover art and track/album titles etc..etc..

Thanks in advance,
Keebler
