Does the iPhone SHIP on the 21st or do we get it on the 21st?

If I pre-order online and get the first shipment, will it be on my door on the 21st? Also, how would I know I got the first batch?

You will get it the 21st as long as you order within the first batch. You will think there is no way it will arrive in time but it will.

You'll know. When they sell out, they shut down pre-ordering -- at least that's how it went down last year.
