Does the iPod have the exact same speaker in as the iPhone 5?

I know the iPhone produces louder sound. If you compare them, the iphone appears to have two speakers where as the iPod touch has one.

No the iPhone has only a single speaker....the other grill is a microphone next to the speaker but it sure is loud on iPhone 5.
