Does the Macbook Pro Support Freesync?

Just wanted to know if the GPUs in the MacBook pro 2016 or if connected to an external display if Mac OS supports Freesync on an external display. I seem to be finding contradicting information around the web so I'd like to know if anyone has tried it.

It seems that this graphic card doesn't support AMD Freesync

macOS does not.

In Windows, it depends if the GPU actually supports it.
