Hey all

I am in lecture and I was wondering if the MBP has a microphone to record audio, ex. speaking teacher lol. I can't seem to find any program that relates to using a mic. Any help thanks!

it sure does, under the left speaker grill...

try garageband, or if your running leopard photobooth with video recording

The mic is under the left speaker grill, and you control settings under the Sound Preference Pane. You can use QuickTime Pro to record (not sure about regular QT) or download Audacity.

TEG

the mic on the MBP, while surprisingly sensitive, isnt directional so recording a lecture wont be easy unless you're sitting in the front.

thanks for the quick replies!! gona start messn around wit it now hehe
