Quite simply, which apps are optimized for the mini? Is it better to use iPhone apps scaled up using the "2x" button? Most iPad apps are now optimized for HD retina display, which the mini isn't, so how would those even look on a mini? Are the developers going to now issue a 3rd size of app now to accommodate this new size display?

With all of these different size screens and resolutions available now, it looks like the fanboys no longer have the "fragmentation" argument in their favor.

They run the same apps that the 1st and 2nd iPad used, its the exact same resolution.

The point of that is it prevents fragmentation. So save your fanboy talk.

Don't you see the name of this tablet? It's "iPad" mini.. What do you expect

iPad. The whole point is to utilize the extra screen estate of a tablet.
