It's not clear from Apple's website if the version 2 of the 12.9" iPad Pro now has a protruding rear camera lens, like the 10.5" iPad Pro does, in common with the newer iPhones...

I'm fairly sure it does, but I haven't seen a picture, or confirmation.

The images on the Apple site clearly show the lens protruding.

Show me - When I click on View Gallery, after selecting the 12.9" iPad, the images show a mixture of the 12.9 and 10.5" sized iPads, and they look similar from the rear.. so it doesn't have an explicit rear view of the 12,9".

You get the same Gallery of five pictures regardless of which iPad size you select.

The bump will be the same on BOTH size iPad Pro.

No doubt

Thanks.
Where does it confirm that that is the 12.9"?

Shame if it does now have a bump, unlike the first generation 12.9".

Thankyou.

Anyone else who can confirm? Perhaps seen one on display in store yet?

Going by Apple's website, THEY are confused. If you go to Apple.com -> buy -> iPad Pro -> select 12.9 -> view gallery... you'll see camera bumps galore... but there's a problem. They show Rose Gold, but that isn't available on the 12.9. So they're displaying the 10.5.

update: Thanks @Donka for the info!

I picked up both this morning. Both sizes feature the protruding camera lens although it sticks further out on the 10.5 model since that is a thinner device.

Thanks!

Yeah, hence my query. Odd for the website to be so unclear.
