I've just bought a new 13" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz (mid 2010) and it should be arriving during next week.
Is there any things i should be aware of? Yellow tint, dead pixels? - Typical manufacturing problems/mistakes.
Where, how do i check these things?

The alternator has a short in it, the muffler is too loud and the coffee maker sucks! Other than that, it's fine!

You turn your computer on. If you notice any problems, then tell Apple. If not, don't get caught up in paranoia.
Your actually quite right about that, but trust me, if the computer I'll receive have any mistakes I will find then sooner or later (I'm a pure perfectionist). So my point is that if i find them myself a couple of month later i suppose Apple won't do anything about it, since it not all certain a manufacturing mistake. If I find those mistakes I'll keep noticing then all the time.

Watch for the 234th pixel from the top (72 rows from the right).
Are you beeing sarcastic or are you damm serious?

By the way, how do i check for yellow tint?

Haha, I believe what everyone is saying is no, there are not any normal defects. I have played with just about every flavor of unibody MB and MBP, and have not noticed anything wrong with any of them. They are solid computers, don't expect anything to be wrong with yours.

Sometimes a MacBook will get sent out without any keyboard or trackpad. Happened to me once.. they tried to convince me it's actually something called an "iPad", but I was having none of it.

p.s. anyone know why none of my apps will install on my keyboardless Macbook? Also, why doesn't Flash work in websites?

:p
