Does the new 2016 MacBook Pro have better Bluetooth than the old one? Sound quality improved?

Yeah but I mean when I connect ot my external speaker from Amazon I just remember my new MacBook pro connected via bluetooth, it was better sound than my late 2013 which I'm using now.
I looked it up actually and it said th enew one has 4.2 bluetooth and I think the old one has 4.0
