Does anyone think that the bar at the top of the Apple store looks marble-ish. Remember that re-occuring Marble Interface rumor? Think this could be a hint at some Mac OS Lion UI changes?

New Apple Navbar hinting Lion design?

Now that Apple's changed its Nav Bar to a new black version (one, I admit, isn't something I'm keen on), and the Nav Bar has always been the same as the UI in OS X, does this mean the grey bits on a Mac are going to turn this black style, or is it just bringing it in line with iOS do you think?

Seems like a lot of changes are being made. You no longer have to scroll through all the products. They are tabbed now.

Did the Apple.com website change a bit?

IDK...I don't check the site often to really put my thumb down on when this change was made, but did the bar at the top change?

Yup, I noticed it today, I like it. Lets see what happens... hehe.

It seems quite logical. I mean, the old style matched Snow Leopard perfectly and I'd really like it if this was legit.

Yes! I believe that's definitely a hint. After all that's Apple's website right? It always was in sync with the GUI of the Mac. Although i like the way it looks on there, I'm still pretty skeptical as to how this will be implemented into the Mac.. I just hope i see exciting stuff on OSX Lion, because what I've seen in the presentation really meant nothing to me, if anything I'm getting alittle bit afraid of the AppStore. That could be a sign that fully capable operating systems are going to become obsolete int he future... But that's another topic :) Glad I'm not the only one who noticed exactly that: "Hmm that thing smells like marble finally..."

There is 1 part of the 10.6 UI that the new website fits perfectly - the new QuickTime logo (QuickTime X - think we may see a graphite/black theme for OS X 10.7... Im hopeful, but hopeful it wont be as downright ugly as iTunes 10 (Then again, iTunes has always had a Icon thats vaguely different to the rest... - can definitely see a trend to circles though.

*Sigh*
It was just an observation, not an attack on Apple. It's getting scary how seriously some of you take this forum.

It's also funny how some take comments to heart. It's not that big a deal, really. It's all in jest.

Let's get back on topic, shall we? :apple:

well, honestly yeah, I thought the exact same thing! man, I'm so excited about what Lion might bring. and for those who're saying they weren't excited about what they saw (it was more like 'peaked') about Lion, was roughly 5 to 10% of what this big cat will be able to do or look like! :D Can't wait for this summer!
gonna be getting the iPad 2, the iPhone 5 & a new MacBook Pro, of course with a Lion roaring from the inside!!
