I bought the new iMac at Best Buy and I'm just curious if they come with the black cleaning cloth.

Ok. Thanks for the fast reply. I am new to this and this is my first iMac. It just got me questioning because I purchased the older iMac on Monday (not knowing that a new one was to be released) and it came with a cleaning cloth. I got an email on Tuesday about the release of the new iMac, so I went and exchanged the older one for the newer one. And the newer one didn't come with a cleaning cloth. I also purchased the AirPort Extreme and the Apple TV. Do you have any comments or suggestions about them?

Both do their jobs well, Not much to say about those as I do not own either, but the two will run great with your new iMac. Congratz!

Paper towel and glass cleaner.

The iMac has edge-to-edge glass instead of a matte finish, so cleaning it can be done with about anything. If you want to get fancy, dilute vinegar with water.

This isn't snarky, this is serious. I clean a Noguchi table with a paper towel and glass cleaner, and that is a massive piece of glass that I care about.

My 2011 iMac did not come with a cleaning cloth. Since I never, ever used the super duper special Apple branded rag on my previous generation machines that were shipped with them I'm not particularly miffed about this scandalous cost cutting measure from the big wigs in Cupertino...
