Does the new iPad screen have richer color?

After I setup the new iPad, one thing I noticed is the new iPad has richer color compared to iPad 2.

At first I thought it was due to the angle on how I'm looking at the screen, but after I looked at it more closely, and make sure my brightness setting is the same between the two, it still seems to me the new iPad screen has richer color. Anyone else noticed this?

Improved colour is one of the touted features..its something that is openly documented.

Yes, Apple claims ~40% increase in color saturation.
