iPod Does the new Nano's click wheel light up?

Based on the nano ad, people might get the impression it glows in the dark too, and will be disappointed if it doesn't. Although it would be nice to have a glowing iPod that makes light streaks when moving it around at night. Makes for a nice billboard that reads, "mug me".

Simply put: No. Ads'll do anything to get your attention and want you to shell out your cash.

It's still worth the price. I'm ditching the idea of getting a case (saves me, what, 30 dollars?) because the aluminum is hard to scratch.

Not at all.

The only version of the iPod to have backlit buttons is the 3rd generation iPod...and it is the sweetest iPod of them all. I plan on never getting rid of the damn thing.

yea, I love my 3g with its red light buttons. I hate how they took that feature out with the clickwheel. there's no good reason the couldn't bring that feature back.

Besides the fact that when the 3G was out, the buttons served one purpose and didn't have a scroll layer on them as well. Also, do you really need to remember where the four control options are? The only reason you needed to back then is because they were separate buttons.

Not to harp, but I totally agree with you besides all these points. Things that glow are cool as hell, especially when it's fairly unnecessary. :D
