Does the new redesigned iWork work on Mountain Lion or Snow Leopard?

I'm thinking of downgrading from Mavericks but I like the new design for iWork. Will I be able to use the new iWork on an older OS?

Are there any security issues linked to downgrading that I should be aware of?
