Does the numbering on the keyboards disappear after heavy use ?

It is not a decal type. It is actually the clear portion of the key. You will never wear the keys totally out like you do on PC keyboards. There are numerous threads on here where they will get shiny but will never begin to lose the numbering.

Mine see very heavy usage and have held up extremely well. They are of very high quality and look as good as new. It's pretty amazing.
