I have this old 2010 Mac Pro and I was wondering if the Apple Hardware Test (called Apple Diagnostics now) also checks the condition of the GPUs. Does anyone know if it does?
I have two old GPUs that I'd like to sell. I want to make sure they're okay. Running the AHT was therefore an idea.
Also one of the GPUs is probably broken (that's why I bought another one sometime). What happens if I put both GPUs in that Mac Pro, is it possible to run it like that? I know it's made for this, but just wondering if there's something to watch out for.
Since one of the GPUs is broken (I have a black screen), I can't see what it says in the AHT, but maybe with both of them, I could see a more specific error or something.
