iPod Does The Pod Cable Plug All The Way Into The Adapter?

I just plugged in my new iPod 20GB color screen and I have a quick question.

When you plug in the USB cable into the adapter, does it go all the way in? Because mine does not, and I was just wondering if that is normal. Like it goes in, but there is still like a cm of metal showing.
This is probably a stupid question but, I wanted to ask anyway

They do appear to not be fully seated(at least mine does). A CM ,I think, is a bit much. As long as it charges and doesnt fall out I wouldnt consider it a problem.

You're right, it isnt really a cm. It is more like 2 or 3 mm. Its good to know that this is not abnormal, thanks.

heh, yeah that sounds better. I also remember specifically thinking that it didnt seem to seat itself in as far as I thought it should the first time I plugged it in.
