Does the Skype App allow video chat over 3G?

Yes, Video chat works on 3G on Skype. But keep in mind that if you don't have unlimited data plan then most likely you will use a lot of data.

Awesome, thanks. I was just wondering because I'm sending someone a bday gift, and he has the 4S but no wifi where he will be. I want to Skype while he unboxes it. He has the lowest data plan on AT&T so I guess I'll make it quick

yes skype video work on 3G

but i have hessing sound drive me nuts
