Does the Sprint iphone have a sim slot?

Hello everyone, new to the iPhone community. I see the Sprint iphone has a slot for a sim card. Would a sim card from another country while traveling work. Just plug and play? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it does. I think it uses it for roaming uses, not completely sure.

You have to call Sprint to get the device unlocked. The Sprint SIM is a C-SIM or a CDMA SIM card (used in the US after LTE, common in Asian CDMA Phones). But it can be unlocked for GSM- international use only.
