15" MBP Penryn

4 Months old

23 cycles, 86% health

I have calibrated it at least once a month, and after calibrating it overnight last night, the health dropped from 92% to 86%.

Is this something I should call Apple about, or should I just try calibrating it again to see if the health comes back? I have a white MB, that is 5 months old. I calibrate it around the same time as the MBP, and the health on it is 98%.

Any input would be appreciated.

I've got the same vintage 15" MBP (base model)

49 Cycles

in the last two days it's health has gone 95%>50%>65%>94%>80% and currently it's 95%

This dip was after using it on mains power for a couple of days, using it on battery has brought it back up.

I calibrated it only about a week ago.

A bit odd

Battery health fluctuates quite a bit. I've never calibrated mine over the year that I've had it (2.16 MBP) and it's at 92% health after 80 cycles.

Just completely cycle the battery a time or two, sometimes that helps.
