Just back from the Apple store where the clerk got fed up and said "may be you can find it on-line" :)

For iPhone 4

I'm basically looking for something like a bumper but with a thick layer of silicone around the plastic. So it's a combination of hard and soft covers. I've seen some cases here like otter and porcupine, but not sure if that's what they have.

Best would be the freaky looking case speck tought skin, but it's ugly as hell imo. But something very similar (where looks are not that imortant, but not to that extreme).

Thank you

actually looks decent BUT is the rubber coating on the sides combined with plastic? Or it's like with other cases, the plastic is on the back and rubber is on the sides

thank you for the quick reply btw

yep, it's on the sides too. The only problem is that it's a 2 piece bumper and it looks like the bottom part is kind of fragile. I'll be often removing the case to put the phone into Belkin Fastfit, i'm sure I'll break it or get sick of putting 2 pieces on.

Switcheasy Trim? Not sure I'm quite understanding what you're looking for.

Switcheasy looks nice but has soft sides. I'm looking for something like SGP Neo Hybrid EX, but in a single piece. If there is one that adds bulk to the sides that would also be great.

Appreciate the suggestions

Probably the apple bumper, nlu ciderz bumper, or like an impact band? You aren't very clear on what your looking for once again.

I think the Impact Band is exactly what he's after.

Eureka! Thank you!

Just hope it will be compatible with the screen protector

It should be fine with the screen shields but it is a big case but protective
