So for an application like photoshop cs5... where is the 30 day trial period actually kept track of? I know in windows it installs a bunch of stuff in registry and all, but in a mac... dont you uninstall an app by just dragging it to a recycling bin?

Does this mean that when you uninstall an app like that, there are still traces of the application remaining on your system? If so, what is the equivalent of a registry in mac? Or is there none?
