Does an unlocked T-Mobile iPhone 6S Plus work on AT&T?

I have the ability to buy an unlocked T-Mobile iPhone but I only want to buy it if it'll function exactly like a AT&T iPhone would (LTE, HD voice(VoLTE), etc).

Ultimately, would there be any downside to using the unlocked T-Mobile iPhone?

Yes it will work. Except it will not have LTE Band 30 which is a new band AT&T is rolling out.
