Does Unsanity Silk slow down leopard?

I have my system gui fonts replaced globally with a custom font using Unsanity Silk running the latest leopard.

Anyone know if this slows down Leopard? Am I taking a performance hit for using this, especially with apps like Illustrator, Indesign?

I haven't noticed any performance hit, but I wouldn't categorically state that it doesn't.
