I currently have an jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3gs firmware 3.1.2 with baseband 5.11.07, I used blackra1n. I wanted to upgrade to 4.0 I hear that you can jailbreak/unlock 4.0. But if i upgrade does change your baseband? Does anyone know?

it does, to 5.13.0, but a new ultrasn02 from repo666.ultrasn0w.com is out, and unlocks it:p

As your phone is currently pwned, you can update to a custom 4.0 firmware made with PwnageTool without updating your baseband. Either way, I suggest you use ultrasn0w to unlock instead of blacksn0w; it's a much more stable unlock.
