Does USB 2 ports share bandwidth on 2011 MBP?

I have late 2011 MBP - 15"

I'm wondering if I import using CF/SD card reader and export to an external hard drive that the bandwidth will be halved or not? Both using it's own USB 2 port.

If it is, I will buy a HDD enclosure with firewire to give the card reader full bandwidth.
