hi the title pretty much says it all.... doesn wifi connection overwrites the usage of the 3G connection? since wen im at home i wanna use my house's wifi instead of 3g usage which i have a limit

For data, the iPhone uses the following priority....

Wi-Fi
3G
EDGE
GPRS

So if you are on a Wi-Fi connection, the iPhone will only use that connection for data, until it is out of range, or it can no longer get any response through the Wi-Fi connection. It then drops to 3G. If there is no 3G coverage, it drops to EDGE. If no edge, the GPRS. If no GPRS, then no data will function.
