Does wired mighty mouse have to versions V1 and V2?

I am about to buy a wired mighty mouse(not wireless, not magic mouse), then I checked DickSmith's website, but I found two versions: Apple Wired Mighty Mouse and Apple Wired Mighty Mouse V2:

The specs are the same, the prices are the same: 69 AUD, however, the V2 one is out of stock, I wonder what is the difference between the two? I know that V2 should be better than previous version, but what exactly the differences are?

the old one had gray side buttons, whereas the new one has white ones.

yeah these mice go way back to 2005, just amazes me why it took apple so long to upgrade it.
