actually they do release for windows too, that's why there's an iTunes 10.5 beta 1 and 2 for windows (sometimes the windows one may not have a feature the mac one has, but it's still beta), along with a safari dev preview and the iCloud Control Panel for Windows Beta 1 and 2, so your statement is incorrect.
