Does Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver work with Lightning to USB Camera Adapter?

I have been using my Xbox 360 controller with my computer using the wireless receiver, but recently had the idea of using my wireless receiver with a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter to play games on my iPad. Was wondering if anyone had tried this before I go out and buy the lightning to USB adapter.
