I have a locked AT&T iphone, with baseband preserved.

I'll be moving to Thailand in one month, and most of their carriers are PREPAY service. You buy a card at a 7/11 and enter the number into the phone to gain more minutes.

Will this work on yellowsn0w? I've heard different things. Are services like this able to work with yellosn0w?

THANKS!

Yellowsn0w should work on all carriers. Just make sure you don't update your iPhone before a new version of Yellowsn0w is released, or your phone will be locked.

No, there are several different phone signal technologies. The iPhone is a GSM phone so your carrier needs to be GSM also.

That's why US users can't unlock to Verizon, for example.

Nope. Not all carriers will work, just GSM ones. Keep the modem firmware baseband) on 02.28.00 by making custom firmwares with PwnageTool for yellowsn0w to work.

Absolutely. Pay as you go or not, yellowsn0w will work.

Both PAYG and contract SIMs will work.
