Hi.

I've a 2010 15" MBP.

I swaped the std hard drive (Seagate 320GB 5k4rpm) for a WD 640GB 5k4 rpm).

But the drive is so slow! Sometimes, when awekening form sleep, the computer freezes, and I can't put the volume to the max because the sound vibrations interfere with the drive's motion sensor and stops it. I tried to disable Mac's SMS, but no good, I can't disable the drive's motion sensor, and the music (and the computer) lags...

It's no good.

What HD drive do you use with your computer? (preferably 2010 MBP's)

Thanks

How did you disable sms? With a terminal command?
