Does your home button slide/click?

Just picked up an iPhone 4 yesterday and the home button seems a little loose and makes a clicking noise when moved side to side...

Is this normal or should I be able to exchange it for a phone with a tight button?

Talked to a guy at Verizon today and he told me to give it a couple days to make sure the glue has set?

He said he would replace it otherwise, although "it's normal because all the home buttons are different" but if I waited past 14 days I will have to fix it with Apple.

So what do you guys think? Normal or no?

If I hold the button down a little it won't reproduce the problem, but if I lightly touch it I can wiggle it around and make it click. Doesn't seem very firm.

Take it to Apple. They will replace it for you.

Just got mine replaced and it does that if you move it. I think it's normal.

Wrong, 13 of the 15 displays at the Apple store has it. Same with mine and the last 2 I had.


Just get use to it OP, it's normal.

I've never heard of that happening. I'd just take it to Apple just in case.
