Does your iPhone 4S lose brightness if tilted, not looking dead on?

Is this a defect? It's the way a LCD tv set loses brightness when looked at from the side.

Nope. Check your eyes.

All LCDs do this to some degree. Even the IPS LCDs that Apple uses for the iPhone and iPad, though the light fall off should be fairly minor.

Nope. Check your eyes.

Are you serious if you tilt it to the side it doesn't tint a bit?
