My iphone sometimes is getting warm while i use it ,mostly when i am on 3g doing fb, tapatalk, safari etc , so light usage..

How about you, do you have this kind of issue??

Not an issue...they do get warm..especially in long calls and FB/ FT use. Perefctly normal and nothing to worry about.

Well only this happens to me always when i use 3g, on wifi i havent noticed yet, is this normal too?

Phones have a tendancy of heating up during radio reception changes. What I mean is that if your on your own WiFi, and your getting perfectly good bars on it, the phone has to stress less to keep that connection, thus the phone will stay at good temperatures. 3G/4G however, the phone is constantly under stress from the changes in environment and frequencies due to towers and all that good stuff, and the phone will overheat a bit. Its normal. If you need proof, try using your iPhone pretty far from your router (somewhere where you'll get a bar or two of WiFi) and use it for a while, you'll see what I mean. It may not happen at all, but most of the time its the case. Had a friend with the same issue on his Nexus 7 tablet, where he was using a neighbor's WiFi which had low signal because of the gap from him and the router, but when he'd go over there and use it it would not overheat.

You have to remember not all phones have the same apps running. I've had my phone warm up as I've used it, it happens. Could be background apps.

Well i dont have alot of apps , only 5-6 and i always clean the multi tasking...

I think i experienced that already, kind weird stuff for iphones i must admit..

BUT also i got warm phone with 4-5 bars 3g i.e in the town center after using it 30 min.. So first i thought the reason is the signal, after few testing its seems is not..

Mixed usage wifi and 3g... On wifi 35 degrees...

Is mine iphone faulty???

my macbook gets warm
my iPad 4 gets warm
my iPad mini gets warm
my iPhone 5s gets warm
my apple tv gets warm

if a device is running it will eventually get warm, nothing to worry about unless it hurts to touch.

Well my iphone 5s only is getting warm when i use 3g,edge, sometimes when the wifi signal is very poor also is getting warm.
Its not that hot to hurt you, but in bus or normal temp room, the phone makes your hand sweaty after some time..
Outside never getting warm..

What about others guys, share all your experience

My iPhone 5S has been running out recently too. I've been uninstalling tweaks. Still hotter than normal.

Temp reads 99.5 F.

I'm jailbroken as well

Any thoughts?

The jailbroken part makes it hard to guess, could be a number of tweaks running in the background causing problems.

Mine does not really get that warm unless I am on a long phone call. Light games and normal browsing, etc and it stays just normal temp...

Happens to me when I game on it or use it for extended periods of time.

If you want to try and prevent this, you could stay away from rubberized cases, and make sure the phone has good airflow from all sides.

Also mine phone now heats alot while charging , is this good ??

My iPhone also tends to run warmer after usage. It's not consistent that I pay attention to what exactly I am running though.

I notice it enough when I use the phone/or multiple apps longer that my phone gets a lot warmer. I was wondering if it may have been overheating.

What's the screen brightness? Even if all you do are light usage, if you've got brightness on maximum, you can expect your phone to run warm.

So here's my problem
My iPhone 5s worked perfectly with no overheating except watching lots of videos
Then I decided to soft reset my phone cause of an in app purchase issue
When it opened again, my phone starts heating up when using any app
