Occasionally, my iPhone will randomly wake from sleep, not do anything (no incoming SMS, email, phone call, etc), and then go back to sleep. Its not supposed to wake the screen when just checking EDGE or your local network... so why is it doing it?

Is your mail autochecking? How often does this occur?

Its completely random, happens several times a day. It does it whether mail is on auto-check or manual.

There are a few threads on this already. It happens to a lot of us, but there is no real explanation because it occurs at random. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
